JRoc Tackle Warranty Statement
1: JRT provides consumers with the following warranty in relation to this Product, in addition to complying with the requirements of any relevant legislation, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) in Australia and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in New Zealand (the Acts), except where a New Zealand consumer acquires the relevant Product for the purposes of a business.
2: In this warranty, we have used the following definitions:
3: JRT warrants that for the duration of the Warranty Period, the Products will be free of faults arising from defects in Workmanship or Materials, on the terms and conditions set out in this warranty.
4: JRT undertakes that if during the Warranty Period any Product, or any part of any Product, has failed to operate correctly due to faulty Workmanship or defective Material, it will repair or replace the relevant Product, or part (as the case may be) free of charge provided that the following procedure is met:
5: This warranty is in addition to any non-excludable legal rights or remedies conferred on the consumer under any applicable Act and any similar laws. To the extent permitted by law, JRT’s liability for any non-excludable condition or warranty is limited to rectifying any defect at its option as set out in paragraph 4(b).
6: Subject to the requirements of any applicable Act or legislation and to the extent permitted by law, no liability (whether expresses or implied) of any nature whatsoever, is accepted by JRT for any consequential loss, damage, or injury arising as a result of any fault in the Products.
7: This warranty does not extend to damage to Products which occurs during transit or transportation, or which is caused by any abuse, accident or improper use or repair of goods otherwise than in accordance with instructions issued by JRT or the manufacturer of the Product.
8: The following applies to consumers who purchased a relevant Product in Australia.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the good repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Omoto Warranty Terms and Conditions
At Omoto Australia we believe that our customers deserve quality designed and engineered products. Our warranty on rods and reels gives you our added commitment to quality, performance and superior customer service.
Omoto fishing reels and rods are designed and engineered to exacting standards of performance and excellence, ensuring our customers get many great years of fishing pleasure with our products.
Omoto Australia warrants to the original purchaser that our rods and reels will be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for the period of FIVE YEARS for reels and ONE YEAR for fishing rods. This warranty applies only to products purchased from JRoc Tackle, the authorised Australian dealer and is valid only in Australia. Proof of purchase is a necessity for all Australian warranty claims.
Our warranties are provided in addition to other rights and remedies that may be available to consumers under applicable law.
The warranty is effective from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser, for all rods (for a period of one year) and reels (for a period of five years) purchased in Australia from JRoc Tackle, after June 1, 2014, with valid proof of purchase. This warranty is not transferable to any other person.
For the period indicated Omoto Australia will perform repairs or effect replacement, at their option, with no costs to you other than shipping charges incurred for sending the reel or rod to and from our Service Centre.
This warranty does not cover claims arising from normal wear and tear, improper use, neglect, salt water immersion, such as corrosion or servicing.
This warranty will be considered void if it is found that the reel or rod has been subjected to unauthorised alterations or modifications, abuse or damage as a result of failure to provide the recommended care and maintenance. Damage that is determined to be of this nature will be repaired at the consumer’s expense.
This warranty does not extend to commercial, professional or charter operators or rental use, which is limited to a 12 month warranty on all products.
To the extent permitted by law, this warranty does not cover claims for any incidental or consequential damage resulting from or in connection to the reel or rod.
If you are a consumer in Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
To make a claim under this warranty:

2: Send the reel or rod (at your expense) together with your Returns Number, proof of purchase and a description of the problem you are experiencing with the reel or rod, along with your name, address and contact phone number to our Service Centre at:

For products accidently damaged, out of warranty, or not purchased from JRoc Tackle, please send the rod or reel to us as indicated above. We will provide you with an estimate before completing any repairs.
Omoto Australia makes no other express or implied warranty with respect to the product other than the warranty listed above. No other modification, extension or addition to this warranty will be accepted. Unless unenforceable or unlawful under applicable law, Omoto Australia disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose. The liability of Omoto Australia, if any, for damages related to any allegedly defective product shall under any tort, contract or other legal theory be limited to the actual price paid for the product and shall in no event include incidental, consequential, special or indirect damages.
